Details
PIC MCU board. The Microchip PIC32MK family integrates analog peripherals, dual USB functionality, and supports up to four CAN 2.0 ports.
Microchip Technology Inc. (microchip technology company of the United States) recently released the latest PIC32 microcontroller (MCU) series. The new PIC32MK family includes a total of 4 highly integrated MCU devices (PIC32MK MC) for high-precision dual motor control applications, and 8 MCU devices with serial communication modules for general-purpose applications (PIC32MK GP). All MC and GP devices contain a 120 MHz 32-bit core that supports DSP (Digital Signal Processor) instructions. In addition, to simplify the development of control algorithms, a double-precision floating-point unit is integrated in the MCU core so that customers can use floating-point-based modeling and simulation tools for code development.
To improve efficiency and reduce the number of discrete components required in motor control applications, this release of high-performance PIC32MK MC devices not only has 32-bit processing capability, but also integrates many advanced analog peripherals, such as four-in-one 10 MHz operational amplifiers , multiple high-speed comparators, and an optimized pulse-width modulation (PWM) module for motor control. At the same time, these devices also contain multiple analog-to-digital converter (ADC) modules, which can achieve a throughput of 25.45 MSPS (mega samples per second) in 12-bit mode and 33.79 MSPS in 8-bit mode. Helps motor control applications achieve higher precision. In addition, these devices have up to 1 MB of real-time update flash memory, 4 KB of EEPROM, and 256 KB of SRAM.
The board also includes programmer/debugger circuitry, enabling easy programming and debugging of the MCU. It supports popular programming languages and development environments, making it accessible to users with different programming backgrounds.
With its compact size and user-friendly layout, the PIC MCU board offers flexibility and ease of use. It can be powered through a USB connection or an external power supply, making it suitable for both desktop and portable applications.
Whether you are a beginner looking to learn about microcontrollers or an experienced developer working on advanced projects, the PIC MCU board provides a reliable and feature-rich platform for turning your ideas into reality.
